The first private satellite from St. Petersburg was developed by Geoscan LLC. It is designed for flight tests of the Geoscan 3U satellite platform. The spacecraft will study the possibility of nanosatellites moving to lower orbits using a gas propulsion system to reduce the amount of space debris. The gas propulsion system was manufactured specifically for the CubeSat at the Experimental design bureau «FAKEL».
The satellite also has a GNSS receiver on board developed by the ELVIS Research and Production Center and a silicon plate with the names of participants in the «Send your Name into Space» campaign, conducted by Geoscan in the fall of 2021: 22,772 names were applied to the plate.
Currently, the spacecraft transmits telemetry to radio amateurs using a special protocol. Radio amateurs from different countries receive satellite images to their ground stations.
Satellite tracking by stations of the international amateur radio network SatNOGS.
QSL card for reception from the Geoscan-Edelweis.
Beacon Telemetry (SatNOGS Dashboard).
Beacon telemetry (R4UAB database).
