Akhmat-1 – satellite of the Kadyrov Chechen State University.

ADS-B module allows pilots of aircraft, as well as air traffic controllers at the ground reporting points to monitor the movement of the aircraft with great accuracy and receive data on its location in real time. Thus, communication with the aircraft is possible along the entire route of its movement.

The transfer of aircraft location data is possible and widely practiced via large communication satellites, but by a small number of air traffic controllers due to the high cost of transmitting information.

The technology of data transmission from the aircraft to the reporting points is tested for the first time on the SC «Akhmat-1».

One ADS-B module installed on one small spacecraft will provide a signal reception area for at least 1500 km.
