First Geoscan 16U Platform-Based Satellite Developed
In collaboration with the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, Geoscan has developed the first Geoscan 16U platform-based satellite as part of the Space-π educational project
Scholars attended the Aerospace Capital office to the integration process of Vizard-meteo CubeSat
On May 16, Aerospace Capital began integration process of Space-π cubesats preparing for summer launch from the Vostochny cosmodrome
CubeSats are usually launched as a secondary payload together with main large satellites. To prevent any risks of cubesat malfunction on the rocket and other satellites, as well as to standardize and simplify the launch process, CubeSats are installed in a special transport container – deployer.
Vizard-meteo was one of the first to be integrated. On this day, scholars visited the Aerospace Capital laboratory and saw the integration process of cubesats into deployers in a special clean room. The company's specialists made a tour around the workspace and explained details and technology of smallsats launching.
Vizard-meteo - a meteorological spacecraft of the Moscow company NIS, designed to monitor the formation of dangerous meteorological phenomena in the atmosphere and forecast the development of the meteorological situation.
